No, really I just drew Alayta naked because it is the easiest thing in the world to draw
Concept art for another Sand Dragon character; he’s supposed to be a knight, buuuut his armor and sword’s a whole other matter of development
Did an expression sheet for Strobe; he can produce soundwaves, but I thought it’d be cuter if I didn’t write any actual dialogue and just let him use the ‘visual’ soundwaves and body language
Another dragon character that I was sketching a bunch on Friday; I went ahead and sketched her in my big sketchbook and decided to try coloring her, it’s been a long long while since I’ve used colored pencils, I feel so rusty! She doesn’t have a name yet, but suggestions are welcome
I drew a sketchpage featuring head portraits of a bunch of my female characters
Yeah I DO have a lot of cyclopses, don’t I?
I don’t often remember my old sketches or creature designs but then I will rediscover them years later and HOLY CRACKERS, I MADE A MECHA TIGER?! Man I wish I was still this good at making robotic things again
Oh no, I made a cute dragon character today; her name is Cecilia and she is a completely peaceful, white holy dragon. Except she’s accident-prone as all get out and has about as much grace as a drunken, one-legged lemur, for this reason, the town that she usually resides in has her locked away in some kind of tower-or something-because she’s just that accident-prone, with her trip-ups and missteps usually resulting in immense amounts of property damage
A pair of steampunk-inspired, robotic characters that I’d come up with the past week or so; Strobe and Steep are a pair of inventions from the same manufacturer, so to Strobe, they’re pretty much brothers while Steep denies being anywhere near related to Strobe.
Strobe is the tall one with the lightbulb for a head, he was invented as a sort of living lamp post, his purpose is to provide light to people who happen to be out after dark on the more dangerous nights, he also keeps them company and a little added security-he speaks, hears and sees through vibrations made on the glass of his bulb and the wire in his head acts as a tuning fork, if the glass of his bulb head breaks, Strobe cannot see, hear or speak and will become incredibly frustrated until a replacement is given to him.
Steep is the big, burly teapot with a fedora, he was basically a gigantic teapot for a cafe, but said cafe went under and now Steep serves whatever liquid is put into his iron, ceramic-lined belly; he runs entirely off of a liquid diet, and can run for days if his body is half-full. Steep hates coffee but loves tea.
